What does your business do?
We are chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors based in Bishop Auckland, offering a wide range of Accountancy, Taxation and Business Advisory Services.
What’s your biggest success/ achievement of the past year?
We have implemented a digital marketing plan which has increased our online presence and enabled us to utilise social media platforms effectively to share content and drive people to our website. This has had a positive impact on our website traffic:
• 11% more users
• 6% more sessions
• 9% decrease in bounce rates
• 6.5% increased duration of each session

What’s been the best part of the Digital Drive programme for you so far?
The full day workshop at Hardwick Hall was really well organised. It was great to get fresh ideas and guidance which we have implemented into our digital marketing plan.
What’s the best tip you’ve picked up from attending Digital Drive workshops that you’d like to pass on to others?
We found the Digital Health Check report really useful. It identified some areas of improvement which has helped gain more traffic organically.
Utilising scheduling software ‘Hootsuite’ to plan content has improved efficiencies.
Using Facebook Business Groups to share post and increase exposure to a targeted local business audience.
What’s next for your business over the coming year?
Following the implementation of our new server with the support of the grant funding we are able to use the skills we have developed from the workshops to grow our business, we have recently recruited two new members of staff which will enable us to meet the demands of our current and future clients.
As well as generating further brand awareness, we would like to grow the number of enquiries made through our digital marketing platforms and are going to explore some paid advertising opportunities on Facebook / LinkedIn.
