About the Event
With social media platforms introducing ever-harsher algorithms that negatively affect the reach of organic content, it’s increasingly important for brands to keep in touch with their customers and potential customers in alternative ways. One of these is through email marketing - sending direct messages to people’s inbox. In this workshop, we’ll be exploring the fundamentals of email marketing to make sure you can implement this marketing method into your mix. We’ll explore:
• The production of an email marketing strategy - no matter your level
• The tools available to use to produce emails
• Determine what value your emails will deliver your audience
• Consider how you’re going to build your audience list
• Explore how to produce an email (or several!) and the components needed to do so
• Discuss email automation and workflow
• Consider all-important email regulations and GDPR
• Reflect on the importance of email analysis and cleaning your audience lists
Note: although it’s not necessary to attend, this workshop will be far more effective if you have a laptop you are able to bring on the day.
